The City of Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach Police Department provide Animal Control officers to protect and serve the stray, abused, hurt or abandoned animals within the city limits of Myrtle Beach. Animal Control Officers are Class III Police Officers tasked with the safety and protection of people and pets through criminal investigations and community engagement.
