The 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days/3 weeks/3 months. Some pets will follow the 3-3-3 rule. 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine, 3 months to feel at home. Some pets will take 6-12 months or longer. There are many factors that can affect the adjustment period.
