Adoption Application

Thank you for choosing Grand Strand Humane Society for your adoption needs. The decision to adopt is an important one for you and the animal you select. The adoption process is designed to place you with the most compatible animal for your lifestyle. Our adoption application is your first step towards being approved for an adoption. Please read, carefully complete all of the information required and submit to our Adoption Specialist for approval.

Requirements For Adoption Approval:

● You must be 21 years or older to adopt

● You must have a proper form of picture identification

● You must be prepared to pay an adoption fee

Please Understand that We Cannot:

● Guarantee the health of our animals. Most of them come to us as strays

● Guarantee their training or if they are housebroken

● Guarantee the temperament/ personality of any animal

Our Adoption Fee Includes:

● Spay/neuter surgery as required by South Carolina Code 47-3-480

● Applicable core vaccines

● Feline Leukemia/FIV testing

● Microchip

● Flea preventative

● Medical records
